Antique Shops in Stockholm

Stockholm’s antique trade has a geography. The established dealers sit on Östermalm, where shop windows on the side streets off Karlavägen hold Gustavian chairs, silver and oil paintings priced for collectors. If you’d rather go door to door, Upplandsgatan in Vasastan is the street to walk, with small dealers a few steps apart. Further south, Södermalm mixes antiques with twentieth-century design, and prices loosen.
